Costa Rica Real Estate And Living

Animals unique to Costa Rica's fauna would usually be found in the tropical rainforests which occupies majority of the island's natural resources. They can be found in almost all regions but specific species can be found in some parts only. These Costa Rica animals are known throughout the world and there are wildlife preservation efforts being done to keep the wildlife intact in Costa Rica even with the rising occurrence of animal exporting and selling.

The Pewee

Animals inhabiting the Costa Rica forests and other areas include the Dark smoke-colored pewee, which is a family of small birds living along the coasts.

The Hummingbird

Hummingbirds are also presently living along the coasts and at different regions of Costa Rica where there are a lot of growing vegetation and flowers. A species of the hummingbird include the Scintillant hummingbird which is very unique among the Costa Rica animals inhabiting the forests.

Butterflies!

Different species of butterflies and other insects also inhabit the forests of Costa Rica and these Costa Rica animals have a very high resiliency because the climate is very good and is very conducive to mating and populating. These species include the Heliconias butterfly which is found mostly in rainforests and wet areas. The Queen butterfly is also another kind of species of butterflies that can be found in the rainforests.

A Frog's Life

Unique to Costa Rica would also be the Strawberry frog or what they call the "Blue Jeans frog" because of the dark denim-like color of the hind legs in contrast to a bright and colourful top portion of the frog's body.

Other species that can be found in the forests would be the three-toed sloth, families of unique Costa Rican bats and black vultures. One species of the black vultures included in the Costa Rica animals kingdom would be the Turkey vulture, which resembles a black-colored turkey bird.
