no, airlines do not usually question your one way purchase. But they will require you to purchase a ticket out of coasta rica withen 90 days of ariving there

I am not really sure of that, in my experienced I bought a round trip ticket, to be sure of my departure, I mean if ever I ran out of cash or something, freak situation sometimes can't be avoided.
