The local authorities utter that the drinking water in Costa Rica is perfectly drinkable, but we recommend that you stick to the bottled variety wherever possible to play it safe.

You're right uno if you dont wan't to ruin your trip keep ready to bring your bottled water or any first aid kits.

In my case I always bring bottled water to be sure in every place I travel or visited in and outside the country.
